Cantanhede

 

Cantanhede is an exuberant region of wines, vegetable garden buildings, fields of corn and potatoes. It’s a flat region with straight roads; accompanied with houses or surrounded by big extensions of green landscape here we discover the idyllic lagoon of “Tocha"

You can visit the famous fountain of roman origin and the historic group formed by the ”Marqueses de Cascais” palace, and the “Pelourinho” and the main church in “Ança”.
“Ança” is also known for its Rock Mountains and smooth line stores.

Cantanhede gives it Nobel “Brasão do Paço dos Marqueses de Marialva” and in the beautiful retable of “João de Ruão” that can be found in the, main chapel of “Varziela”.
